This opening scene of this movie is very very hardfull romantic song. Directed by henry Hathaway, this movie has made John wayne the duke, becoming the best actor in Oscar 1970. John wayne act as Marshall rooster cogburn, people said he has true grit. This movie began with the death of Frank Ross. He die because of Tom Chaney's shot, Tom chaney is a helper on his house. The daughter of frank, mattie ross, was very hate to Tom Chaney and she wants him hung in Fortsmith. So, Mattie call Rooster to find Tom to catch. The other way, the texas gunfighter La Beaouf come to fortsmith and meet with rooster and mattie, and then together gone to indian territory to catch tom chaney. On the ride, they kill Lucky ned Papper who help tom hiding. In the end La beaouf die, good die, and mattie with rooster can going home. Tom Chaney die.
